One of the earliest singles on the album, "Beast" combines old-school rock aggression with classic rock shuffle inspired by Five Finger Death Punch's "Sham Pain". "Beast" is a song about the animal fear of losing control over one's feelings, which paralyzes the will and mind, which is why what is hiding and tearing apart from the inside threatens to break out. And when that happens, peace will come.
